ARTILLERY SS-HAUPTSCHARFÜHRER'S DER SPIESS M36 FIELD BLOUSE.
This is a rare and beautiful tailor made private purchase M36 style tunic for a Waffen SS Artillery Hauptscharfuhrer in the position of Stabsscharfuhrer (known in the Heer as "Der Spiess").
Made in Friedberg by Konrad Simon, its constructed of a fine quality wool tricot and fully lined in artificial silk (rayon), complete with a slit for a dagger.
All of the rank tresse is of the subdued silk variety as opposed to aluminum, and includes the double cuff rings which are unique to this position and were installed while the tunic was being constructed.
The runic collar tab is hand embroidered in aluminum, and shows signs of corrosion and wear.
There are loops for two awards on the left breast pocket, and an Iron Cross ribbon in the button hole.
All insignia is original to the tunic, and there are no signs of there ever having been any Heer breast eagle or any other insignia being applied.
The overall condition of this choice piece is excellent, with only a few scattered moth holes.

Very nice quality private purchase Luftwaffe blue-grey wool tunic.
The tunic has four front pockets.The left breast has three thread loops for awards.
The reverse of the tunic has a central vertical tail skirt vent.
The top front closure button eyelet has a Iron Cross 2ND class ribbon.
Four button, front closure with fold back lapels and a lay down collar.
The right breast has a machine embroidered Luftwaffe eagle hand stitched to the tunic.
The collar has golden yellow wool collar tabs with one silver stamped aluminum rank "gulls" to each. Interestingly the collar tabs have fine, bright, golden yellow rayon piping to the outer edges.
The tunic has sewn on shoulder straps in Luftwaffe blue/grey wool material.
The interior of the tunic is fully lined in blue-grey rayon with a striped pale grey lining to the sleeves and tailor patch Carl Derwig Berlin.
The tunic is in overall very good, untouched, condition with a couple of very small moth holes.
